The challenge

What needed
to change

Wasabi operates across a growing estate of restaurants, central kitchens and grocery partnerships. It had invested in the Microsoft stack, but the estate was underperforming: reporting people could not fully rely on, built on foundations that were not solid.

What we delivered

How we
approached it

Hopton took over the estate and stabilised it first, rebuilding on dependable foundations across Fabric, Power BI, Azure and Business Central, and bringing more than 40 restaurant P&Ls, central kitchens and grocery into one trusted view. With the estate reliable, the work moved into enhancement under the Analytics Acceleration Programme, and is now extending into machine learning.

Results & benefits

What it delivered

An underperforming Microsoft estate rebuilt on dependable foundations.

More than 40 restaurant P&Ls, central kitchens and grocery brought into one trusted view.

Reporting the business can rely on, replacing numbers it could not.

A platform now ready to extend into machine learning.

We had invested in the technology but were not getting reporting we could rely on. Hopton steadied it first and then built on it, and now the numbers are something we act on rather than question.
