The Situation

Wasabi operates across a growing estate of restaurants, central kitchens and grocery partnerships. It had invested in the Microsoft stack, but the estate was underperforming: reporting people could not fully rely on, built on foundations that were not solid.

What We Delivered

Hopton took over the estate and stabilised it first, rebuilding on dependable foundations across Fabric, Power BI, Azure and Business Central, and bringing more than 40 restaurant P&Ls, central kitchens and grocery into one trusted view. With the estate reliable, the work moved into enhancement under the Analytics Acceleration Programme, and is now extending into machine learning.

The Situation

The Co-op's internal data team needed extra resource and deeper Pyramid Analytics expertise, particularly as they planned a move away from legacy systems. They wanted a partner who could deliver real reporting and, at the same time, help the team build up its own capability.

What We Delivered

Pyramid recommended Hopton, and we have since delivered a series of consultancy projects, each shaped around a specific business requirement rather than a fixed package. The work has covered Pyramid Analytics, Power BI and broader data strategy. We built well-defined reports that have been adopted widely and are now used across the organisation. Throughout, we worked alongside the internal team to build up its capability, keeping a balance between delivering the work and leaving the team able to carry it on.
