ALLIANCE

We work with partners, not just for them.

Alliance is how we work with the partners we build and win work with: the consultancies, software partners and advisers whose clients need analytics we can deliver. We keep it deliberately simple, and we aim to be a reliable extension of your team that protects the relationship you already have.

Partnership

How we work with partners

A partner relationship with Hopton typically follows one of two models. In both cases, we aim to be a reliable extension of your team, protecting the client experience and strengthening the relationship you already have.

Referral and introduction

You introduce Hopton to a client that needs analytics support, and we take it from there. We lead pre-sales, scoping, delivery and ongoing support. You receive a referral fee for the introduction.

Joint engagement

You lead the wider account or programme, and Hopton delivers the analytics workstream alongside you. We align with your governance, planning and reporting structures as a specialist delivery team.

WHAT ALLIANCE ADDS

For the partners we work with most closely.

Alliance goes beyond a single engagement.

A named owner at Hopton

One person owns the relationship and the joint plan, so you always know who to call and what we are working on together.

A joint plan, reviewed

Shared target accounts and agreed propositions, reviewed every quarter like any account that matters.

Propositions you can sell

Packaged analytics offers built with you, so your team can take a play to your own clients without inventing it from scratch each time.

Enablement for your people

We help your consultants and salespeople spot the analytics opportunity, so they can bring it to you early.

Work that flows both ways

We refer where it fits. A one-way channel does not last, and we do not run one.

Principles

How we work, in practice

Our partnership approach is built on principles that protect delivery quality and make engagements run smoothly. These come from delivery experience.

Clear ownership

Everyone knows who owns the client relationship, the scope, decisions and delivery.

Direct access to requirements

Analytics succeeds when we can properly understand how the organisation works, what decisions need to be made, and what good looks like.

Simple communication

Fewer handovers, fewer misunderstandings, faster progress.

Quality and consistency

Proven ways of working, good documentation, and delivery standards that scale.

Delivery approach

Our delivery approach is based on direct engagement with clients. When Hopton provides analytics services, we work directly with client teams to understand requirements, shape solutions, and deliver outcomes that stand up in practice.

Direct engagement allows us to build a proper understanding of how the client operates, how decisions are made, and where analytics can have the most impact. For partners, this means confidence that analytics delivery will be handled professionally and transparently.

We regularly work alongside partners as part of wider programmes, aligning to agreed governance, delivery plans, and communication rhythms. We are comfortable operating as a specialist workstream within a broader engagement.

Our position on white labelling

We do not offer a white-labelled delivery model for analytics, and that is deliberate. Where analytics delivery is separated from direct client engagement, it gets harder to keep quality high, manage change well, and stand behind outcomes. By working directly with clients we can take clear accountability for what we deliver, speak up openly when assumptions change, and make sure the client gets the support they expect. That protects delivery quality, and it protects both your reputation and ours.

Clarity

Roles and responsibilities

Hopton's role

All analytics-related activities: discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, delivery, quality assurance and ongoing support. We take ownership of how analytics work is delivered and are accountable for quality and outcomes.

The partner's role

Introducing Hopton to clients and shaping the wider engagement, leading the overall account relationship, positioning analytics capability as part of a broader solution, and providing business and organisational context.

The client's role

Engaged in discovery, available to validate requirements and assumptions, and able to provide timely feedback on outputs. Open communication ensures decisions are made quickly and delivery remains aligned.

Get started

Is this the right fit?

Alliance works best with partners who want analytics done properly, who value client ownership and accountability, and who think in long-term relationships rather than short-term convenience. If that is how you like to work, we will get on well.
